The Minot State Dome is an indoor multi-sport facility that all MSU athletic programs utilize either for practice, conditioning or games. The floor has NCAA regulation sized basketball and volleyball courts that serve home to the Beavers as well as various other high school and community events.
The Dome has the capacity to hold 10,000 fans; 6,000 in the lower bowl and 4,000 in the upper decks. The Minot State official student section, "Red Alert", has a designated section assigned on the southeast corner of the stands. Students in "Red Alert" give the Beavers homecourt advantage while also winning prizes and participating in contests.
For various youth and high school tournaments, an eight lane indoor track, three full-sized basketball courts, two full-sized volleyball courts or two wrestling mats can be set up by Dome staff.
The Dome continues to be one of the premiere athletic facilities in North Dakota and the Upper Midwest due to the outstanding upkeep of the facility and the outstanding support of athletic fans in the surrounding communities.
