Keegan Berry was named the 2nd head coach for the Beaver women's wrestling program in March of 2026 after spending three season as an assistant coach for the program.
Berry joined the Minot State women's wrestling coaching staff in the summer of 2023, and also previously served as the Director of Athletic Facilities Operations for Beaver Athletics.
Keegan started his coaching career at Minot State as a graduate assistant coach with the men's wrestling program for the 2022-23 season after an incredibly successful career on the mat as a wrestler for the Beavers.
A freshman student-athlete at Minot State in 2016-17, Berry spent five seasons competing on the mats and racked up more than 60 wins for the Beavers. He earned a national ranking as high as No. 14 at 184 pounds, was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team five times, was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma in 2019, and named to the NWCA All-Academic Team in 2018.
Away from the Minot State campus, Berry served as a substitute teacher for a year in the Minot Public Schools system, was an assistant coach from 2017 to present for the Dakota Rattlers wrestling club, was a camp counselor at the Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camps in Minneapolis, Minn., in 2018 and 2019, and served as a volunteer coach for Special Olympics from 2017-2019.
Keegan received his Bachelors in Physical Education in 2021 from Minot State and his Masters in Education in 2023.
